{Personal Style} Printed Pants

{Outfit: Pants - American Eagle Outfitters/ Heels - Target/ Necklace - Forever21/ T-shirt - old}

Hello Loves,

Here's a quick outfit post for you :) I wore this outfit during the late summer and saved it to sprinkle in with me fall/winter personal style posts, because I have quite a few lovely readers from the tropics and the southern hemisphere. Summer is in full swing in places like Australia and in places like Sri Lanka, well the sun doesn't stop shining for long. So this one's for y'all. Thanks for the love and support!

Let me break this down real quick. Take one pair of printed pants and add a basic t-shirt (this one has sequins on the shoulders for a bit of dazzle). Finish off with an elongating statement necklace, do a little print mixing with some python print pumps and voila! An easy summer look. Add to the boho vibe with a bright pout and side braid.

Hope y'all are have a wonderful week!

XOXO,
Chrissy

{Personal Style} Boho Maxi Dress

{Outfit: Dress - Forever 21/ Sandals - old/ Jacket - Calvin Klein/ Necklace & Ring - Forever 21}
Hello lovelies!

Here's another easy summer to fall transition outfit. Just add a printed maxi dress, embellished sandals and a leather topper (faux is always good). I love the all black simplicity of this outfit, the different textures are what prevent this look from being boring. I kept the accessories simple with a faux shark tooth necklace and aztec inspired ring. It was a really windy day, so please excuse my windswept hair! Long hair is awesome but the wind is not its friend.

Most of the pictures on this blog are taken by my lovely friend and roommate, Laura S. I just wanted to take some time and give her a little shout out for helping me out :) Here's a cute picture of her :)

What do you think of my outfit? Have you tried something similar? Thanks for reading loves, and please leave me a comment or just say hi -- I love hearing from you all <3

Xoxo,
Chrissy

{Personal Style} White Pants

{Outfit: Pants - Khols/ Tank - Forever 21/ Trench - Old/ Wedges - Maurices/ Watch - Armani/ Crossbody bag - Target}
Hey everyone!

I have another outfit post for you guys. This one is a quick summer to fall transition outfit. Just take your favorite summery white linen pants, and trusty black tank top, and then add a trench coat on top. Easy peasy! To accessorize, I just added a silver watch and ring. A white manicure makes for a chic finish to this look. Wearing white after labor day is one of the easiest fashion rules to break, so go on, try it ;)

Chrissy

{Personal Style} Emerald Shift Dress

{Outfit: Dress - MSGM via Rent The Runway/ Heels - DSW/ Cuff - Gift/ Necklace - JC Penney}
 Hi Dolls,

These pictures aren't very good quality, but I just wanted to share what I wore to one of my best friends weddings over the summer. I don't really have a favorite color because I adore color in general, but if I had to pick one, I'd go with emerald green. This dress isn't exactly emerald green, but it looks fabulous on almost every skin tone, especially tanned skin. The pair of heels I'm wearing is a favorite too. I rented this dress for the occasion, but I do wish I could have kept it!

What is your favorite color and how do you like to wear it? Leave me a comment below :)

XOXO,

Chrissy

{Personal Style} Ripped Denim

{Outfit: Blazer - Vintage/ Jeans - American Eagle Outfitters/ Tank - Kohl's/ Sandals - Old/ Ring and Cuff - Forever 21}
Hi everyone,

I'm really enjoying the ripped denim trend, I hope it's here to stay. I especially like how you can be dressed up on top with a blazer or a flowy blouse and then adding the ripped denim, which gives the look an edge. I kept it kind of simple because I didn't want there to be a lot going on. The only accessories I have on are a silver boho inspired ring and cuff. I have white polish on my fingers and hot pink on my toes, since these pictures were taken in the transition from summer to fall.

How do you like to style your ripped denim? Do you have a go to look?

XOXO,
Chrissy

{Personal Style} Safari Shirt Dress

{Outfit: Dress - Derek Lam for Kohl's/ Sandals - bought in India/ Purse - Target/ Cuff - gift/ Sunglasses - Forever21/ Belt - thrifted}

Hey everyone, it's been awhile! I wore this outfit a while ago, when I went to lunch with a friend. We stopped to look at a museum and my friend took some outfit pictures on my phone. The quality is pretty bad when I uploaded it on to the blog, so I apologize. I love this safari shirt dress, it's a great year round dress, and very comfortable.

Hope you guys are enjoying the last of the warm weather.

xoxo,
Chrissy

{Personal Style} Maxi Cardigan

{Outfit: Long Cardigan - Silence+Noise @ Urban Outfitters, similar here/ Jeans - Forever 21/ T-Shirt - old/ Ring - Forever 21/ Purse - Picard/ Boots - old, JC Penney, Aviators - Old Navy}
I took these #ootd pictures a while ago, but decided to upload them now because it is still weather appropriate. In some parts of the country it's still chilly and in Australia and New Zealand, fall (autumn) is starting up. I love a good maxi cardigan, it is perfect to keep warm in and still look stylish. Not to mention, it basically functions as a comfy blanket :) This outfit is so easy, and adds style to a basic jeans and tee combo. The black booties and bag give some sophistication to the outfit, and the mirrored aviators bring in color to this otherwise neutral look.

Do you like maxi cardigans? If you think you are too short to pull this off, simply add heels :)

Personal Style: {Laura's Purple Outfit}

My good friend Laura recently left town for a little while and I miss her already. I've mentioned before that this lovely girl is the one who most often helps me take pictures for the blog (and we have a lot of fun doing it!). In what can only be perfect timing, I found some outfit pictures we shot some time ago and I thought it would make a good post.
I think Laura does a great job of injecting some color and femininity into her outfit. I'm always up for rebelling against the cold by dressing up and adding color. Laura layered two skirts here for added warmth. Doesn't her red hair look great against the jewel-toned purple?
This post is for you Laura, hope you like it :)

Stay warm,
xoxo - Chrissy
